I have a Bachelor of Counselling in Person-Centred Counselling (PCC) and have trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for individuals, couples and families. I am a counsellor registered with and full member of, the New Zealand Association of Counsellors (NZAC), working within their code of ethics. I am an approved counsellor with Hope For The Children, Work and Income and ACC. I am able to work with people who qualify for the Disability Allowance or ACC Sensitive Claims support.

I am passionate about helping children, young people and adults as individuals, couples or families, to live and relate well. In particular, I have a special interest in working with individuals, couples and families whose relationships are distressed or who would like to deepen their relational bonds. I am also very experienced in working cross-culturally with people who come from cultural backgrounds other than my own, which is Pakeha.

I like to work from a very relational, holistic perspective which includes spirituality when relevant to my clients. I provide confidential counselling support for a wide range of issues such as grief and loss, trauma, mental illness, addictions, personal distress, relationship distress, parenting and family issues, workplace difficulties, life transitions and aging.

My full fee range is $100 - $115 ( GST incl ) per one hour session but I am willing to negotiate a lesser fee if this is not affordable to you. I am able to work with people who qualify for the Disability Allowance. I am also an approved ACC counsellor for Sensitive Claims.

I can access funding subsidies for children and young people who qualify for "Hope For The Children" funding support and full subsidy of fees for clients who qualify for ACC Sensitive Claims counselling.

I operate my private practice from Whitecliffs in the Selwyn District of Rural Canterbury, servicing the rural communities connected to Darfield and Methven.

I provide supervision for community and health professionals. I work to acknowledge your professional work within the context of your full life journey and to provide a safe, supportive and nurturing relationship for you to reflect on, discuss and explore your work experiences, both those that go well and those that do not.

My full fee is $115 ( GST incl ) per one hour session.
